A civil society and humanitarian professional with more than eight years of experience working with communities across Somalia. Her work has focused on community development, human rights awareness, digital security, and strengthening the participation of women and youth in civil society initiatives.

Under her leadership, Bridge Hope Organization combines local knowledge with technical expertise to design and implement programs that respond directly to community needs while upholding human rights principles, transparency, and accountability.

Safe Sisters Program

Digital Safety Skills for Young Somali Women

The Safe Sisters Program is a two-day digital safety training empowering young Somali women with the skills to navigate online spaces safely and confidently. Organized by DefendDefenders and facilitated by Naima Warsame Hassan from Bridge Hope Organization, the program trains women from advocacy, journalism, civil society, and humanitarian work.

Every woman faces online risks — this program equips them with practical tools for secure communication, data protection, and strategies to respond to online harassment.
